Jeff Meaney is Vice President, Corporate Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He has responsibility for managing Business Services.
Previously Meaney was Senior Managing Director at TIAA-CREF, a firm headquartered in New York City. His responsibilities included firm-wide strategic sourcing, corporate services which encompasses construction, property management, leasing, facilities, critical systems and business services. He was also responsible for corporate security, business continuity planning and life safety systems.
Prior to joining TIAA-CREF, Meaney was with Morgan Stanley and in 1999 served as Vice President and Head of Property Management for the Americas. In 2000, he was promoted to Executive Director and given additional responsibility for transportation services. In 2002, Meaney assumed the role of Global Director of Corporate Security. In addition to this position, he served as Chair of the Global Business Continuity Planning and Information Security Council, which oversees all Morgan Stanley Companies. In 2003, he was promoted to Managing Director.
Before working at Morgan Stanley, Meaney was Vice President of Security and Services for The Durst Organization. He served on the Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations, Building Owners and Managers Association, Real Estate Board of New York, and the Avenue of the Americas Association.
Meaney also served as a board member of the U.S. State Department, Overseas Security Advisory Council, and NYPD APPL. He has served on the boards of Autism Speaks, AABR (formally The Association for the Advancement of the Blind and Retarded) and The Torch Foundation.
Meaney holds a B.B.A. in Management from Adelphi University and a M.B.A. from Columbia University. He also graduated with honors from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glenco, Georgia.
The Leadership Certificate Program is an interdepartmental initiative hosted by the Center for Career and Professional Development, the Center for Student Involvement, the Office of Alumni Relations and the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business.
Its goal is to offer Adelphi undergraduate and graduate students opportunities to develop leadership and professional skills. Participants are able to attend workshops on a wide variety of topics during the course of the year.
To participate in the Leadership Certificate Program, submit the registration page by clicking Join Event and RSVP for a minimum of six events. Each student must complete the workshops within the academic year.
