Q&A with one of Adelphi's international students.

At Adelphi University, our students come from all over the world to gain experience, exposure, and knowledge as they immerse themselves as global learners. Here is a glimpse into what life at Adelphi is like for our international students!

What was the most important thing you learned during your first semester at Adelphi?

I was afraid in my first days at Adelphi that I was not good enough for the school. After a while I found my way through. There is a lot of people that helped me to do that. I found out that there is always a place for me at Adelphi.

What are your professors like?

Through all the semesters, my professors have been great. They are understanding and helpful. They make sure that they are making enough time for each student. Especially international students who sometimes face some difficulties.

What is the best tip you would give to an incoming international student?

The best thing for a new international student to do, is use the facilities offered at Adelphi. The Learning and Writing Center can help students improve their writing. Also, get involved in the extracurricular activities to help adjust.
