The pool is currently undergoing renovations. Anticipated re-opening of the pool is September 2009. Recreational aquatics offerings and schedules will be posted as that information becomes available. Below is a description of classes that have been held in previous semesters.

Non-Credit Swim Instruction I
This class is designed for the non- or beginning-level swimmer. Many teens and adults who have never learned to swim have developed a true fear of the water over time. This class will help you feel more comfortable in the pool. We hope that you become comfortable enough to actually look forward to going to the lesson! The main focus of the class will be on learning to float, kicking, stroke lessons and proper breathing. Classes are small so we can focus on the individual. The typical limit on a class like this is 8 swimmers.

Non-Credit Swim Instruction II
This program is for adults who wish to master all strokes and streamline their swim. Swimmers will build endurance and become comfortable with all aquatic positions. Students in this class should be able to swim at least one length of the pool. Classes are small so we can focus on the individual. The typical limit on a class like this is 10 swimmers.

Masters Swim (Fitness Swimming)
This is a group swim designed for the experienced fitness swimmer in mind, ages 18 and older, who are looking to improve their strokes and stamina (great for tri-athletes). Swimmers who join this group will be getting a total cardiovascular workout. Expert instruction will challenge you with yard specific sets, working on a time based standard using the clock. We will work on stroke drills, turns, sprints, and for those challenging themselves maybe even build up some distance. We will work with each individual to make sure you get a cardio workout that meets your needs.
