What is the Cat Cup Challenge?
The Cat Cup Challenge began in 1994-95 as a means to develop a sense of unity within each resident hall building and provide fun and unique activities for resident students. It is a year long competition between the buildings made up of a series of events such as the annual Kickoff, Scavenger Hunt and Last Blast, among others. Students compete on teams to win prizes and earn points for their building. A large trophy ( the Cat Cup ), located in the Campus Recreation office, is engraved with each year's overall winner:
