Please Note:
The Recreational Fitness Center will be closed after the regular hours on Sunday, May 11.
The gym, indoor track, studio and swimming pool will remain open until Friday, May 16, which is the last day of the semester. All recreational lockers must be cleaned out of personal belongings by Friday, May 16. Any locks left on after May 16 will be removed and locker contents will be discarded.
The new Recreation & Sports Center will have an interim fitness center with cardio and weight machines as well as a three-court gymnasium, indoor track (1/10th mile), recreational locker rooms, and equipment issue. It is scheduled to open sometime this summer and the campus will be informed when the opening date of the new building has been established.
The pool will remain closed for the duration of Woodruff Hall renovation, which is expected to take 14 to 18 months.

During open recreation hours, the facilities are open to all students, faculty, staff, administration and members of the Alumni Leisure Passport Club and Community Recreation Membership program. Your valid (current) ID or membership card must be shown to the recreation staff anytime you use the facilities.
Gymnasium
The Gym is located on the main floor level. Recreational activities include basketball, volleyball and badminton. Sneakers must be worn by all who play on the gym floor.
Indoor Track
A carpeted and banked track is located on the upper level of Woodruff Hall. It is a short 1/17-mile overlooking the basketball court and enhanced on one side by windows overlooking the Cherry Valley Golf Course.
Squash Court
The squash court open for use is located at the track level, south end of Woodruff Hall. Although a modest facility, it's often used for racketball by our constituents.
Outdoor Track
Available to Adelphi Students, Faculty and Staff (not alumni and community members), the 1/5 mile track is located on the Waldorf School campus. Enter through the gate behind Linen Hall (parking at Field #4). Open 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and 3:30 PM to dusk on weekdays. Hours vary on weekends depending on Waldorf School events. Valid university ID must be presented upon request.
Locker Rooms
Both men's and women's locker room facilities are available to recreation participants. They are located one level down (men's at the South, women's at the North end). You may use an empty locker (bring your own lock). No locks may be left on overnight.
Equipment Issue
Recreation equipment is issued by the recreation supervisor on duty. Valid ID is required in order to borrow equipment.
