What can I do with... a major in Psychology?

(It is important to note that it will be extremely difficult to counsel without an advanced degree.)

  • Ability to apply knowledge of human needs and problems to counseling, crisis intervention, education, and social services.

  • Understanding of the socioeconomic, socio-cultural, developmental, and environmental factors that impact human behavior.
  • Ability to conduct and analyze psychological research and tests.
