Student Services Reciprocity with Other Colleges

The Center for Career Development at Adelphi University, like many other college career centers, has a policy of sharing some of our services with students from other colleges that, in turn, share their services with our students.

Visitors wishing to use the resources of our career center should request that the director of their home college's career center write a letter to the director of the Adelphi University Center for Career Development requesting reciprocity for the individual student or graduate.

Since the Center for Career Development at Adelphi University is funded through the tuition and fees of our students, a nominal charge has been established for reciprocity users in order to accommodate the increasing demands of serving non-Adelphi students and alumni. Services and related fees are as follows:

Library Membership includes the use of our comprehensive recent collection of books, periodicals and career-related publications, as well as our continually updated job and internship listings. A non-refundable charge of $35 for a six-month period is assessed for library membership.

Full Membership will grant the user up to two counseling appointments, use of computerized career guidance, attendance at small group workshops and job fairs, and use of the library, job listings and handouts. A non-refundable charge of $75 for a six-month period is assessed for these services.

Please note that reciprocity does not include access to the On-Campus Recruitment programs, résumé referral or credential files. Fees are payable prior to using the services and a registration card will be kept on file. All checks should be made payable to Adelphi University.
