The Graduate Student Council is the representative body of the graduate student population at Adelphi University.
The GSC includes representatives from:
- School of Social Work
- Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology
- Ruth S. Ammon School of Education
- College of Nursing and Public Health
- Robert B. Willumstad School of Business
- College of Arts and Science
- College of Professional and Continuing Studies
Representatives on the council are responsible for:
- Bringing concerns, needs and wishes of their constituents to the GSC and soliciting input from graduate students in GSC business and activities
- Disseminating information regarding GSC business, university-wide events, and issues that affect graduate students to the students of his/her school/college
- Recommending all measures necessary and proper for the general welfare of the graduate student body
The Graduate Student Council meets every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in the Nexus Building, Room 301.
