Class Descriptions

This class combines ballet-inspired exercises  with elements of Pilates to create the perfect hybrid of a core-centered workout that includes strengthening and lengthening of arms, legs, and glutes. This fun workout efficiently uses the ballet barre as a gentle support to take a dive deep into the muscles of the quads and glutes while also strengthening the core and and spine with fun mat exercises.  Some simple props like a soft Pilates ball will be used to enhance and support exercises so that each individual can achieve their own fitness goals to strengthen, lengthen and sculpt all the muscle systems.  You will feel the results and then quickly see the results of this overall body workout. This class is geared for all fitness levels and for both men and women.

Full body workout to motivate, build and challenge you.   Use of light to moderate weights and bodyweight exercises.   The class includes warm-up, circuit training, core-work and cool-down for a complete workout.

Modifications are given to meet all fitness levels.

This class is 45 min. class.  It is for all fitness levels.  It will consist of a warm up and cooldown.  You will be on the bike for about 20 minutes . Rides are a cardio interval training that will get your heart pumping to the rhythm of the music . The next 20 minutes will be off the bike strengthening your upper and lower body with some dumbbells and mat core work.

Come bliss out and end your day with a guided relaxation and stretch-based class! Move through restorative and yin postures – poses that are held longer with passive and active stretching – at times with the use of yoga props (blocks, bolsters, blankets) to assist in releasing tension and aiding in tranquility. This class is great to help you feel physically, mentally, and emotionally better!! As an Adelphi Group Fitness favorite – be sure to add it to your schedule!

Hiit Strength is the most efficient workout to build strength and endurance in a short period of time. There are short and intense periods of anaerobic resistance training, followed by brief periods of rest.

This workout includes the use of a variety of equipment and improves athletic capacity, as well as glucose metabolism. Plan to play with TRX, Kettlebells, Medicine balls and more, for a fun and fulfilling workout.

This class combines kickboxing movements with high intensity interval training (HIIT)  including jabs, hooks, crosses, uppercuts, back kicks, front kicks, and the like—working both your lower and upper body to heart pumping beats that keep you moving.

A fun, fast-paced flow class that’s a full body workout! Expect a gradual build of a warm-up, core work, sun salutations, funky sequencing, strength and cardio moves, finishing with a cool-down. All set to fun tunes and jams, walk out feeling better after this class than when you first came in!

Sweat & Swagger is a heart pumping, beat dropping cardio dance workout designed to bring out your inner badass!

This class is a 45 min total body workout.  It is for all  fitness levels.  You will be using suspension straps and your own body weight to strengthening upper and lower muscle groups.

Vinyasa is a flow practice, moving with the breath (both the inhale and exhale). It is a fluid practice that allows students to explore and enjoy different postures through intuitive sequencing. Students can learn about and build up to inversions and head/handstands and well as other challenging balances if they choose. The focus is on alignment through a flow which creates liberation in movement as students explore their practice.

Fuse of hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy -to-follow moves to create a high energy, calorie blasting, total body dance based workout designed to tone your body head to toe.

This is an all-levels vinyasa class to a unique alternative soundtrack (rock, metal, emo, goth) with a focus on facing fears, overcoming obstacles, and embracing the dark side of life in order to appreciate the light. In this fun and empowering flow, there will be opportunities to work on challenging transitions, inversions, arm balances, and even some yin poses, but options will always be given for everyone’s varying abilities. The choice is always yours. Jenna emphasizes the importance of listening to your body and doing what’s right for you. Students can expect to sweat, laugh, and leave feeling empowered. We will always learn new things while building a stable foundation in the basics.
