Bath, PA - Adelphi captured fourth place at the Moravian Fall Invitational yesterday. The Panthers shot a combined 313 and finished five strokes behind winner Moravian College (308). The invitational was played on the par 71 Southmoore Golf Course and the low round of the day was a 73 which was shot by three golfers.
John Seifert led Adelphi and finished in eighth place with a 75. Seifert was followed by Sean Cahalare and Steve Terrana. Cahalare shot a 77 and finished in a tie for 12th place, while Terrana was two strokes back at 79, which was good enough for 18th place. Kevin Loftus was consistent, shooting 41 on both the front and back nine. Loftus finished in 34th place with an 82. Adam Ochman rounds out Adelphi's top five and shot a 91 which put him in a tie for 82nd.
The Panthers will face Nassau CC in a head-to head battle next Tuesday, September 30th. The match will be played at 1 pm on the Harbor Links golf course.
