Brookville, N.Y. - The Adelphi men and women's cross country places first and second respectively at the C.W. Post Quad Meet this Saturay morning. In the first race the Pioneer's Charlie Billi, cruised to vitory running 16:05 for the 5K course. Unfortunately for the home team, Adelphi had five out of the next six finishers to win the team title. C.W. Post captured second with NYIT finishing third in the standings.

On the women's side, Christa Imperiale of C.W. Post led wire to wire to capture her first race of the season. Adelphi, without lead runner Katie DiPietro, finished second. Dowling finished 3rd while NYIT was incomplete. In the women's race only the top four women scored for each team.
