Anthropology Club meetings are Tuesdays at 4PM in Blodgett 102

Caribbean Cultural Awareness Club has a Comedy Show and After Party on November 14th, time to be announced.

Delphian meetings are every Monday at 1PM in UC 307. All students and faculty are welcome to attend and contribute to Adelphi's student newspaper.

Environmental Action Coalition is meeting on November 6th in the Anthropology Department in Blodgett 101 at 3:30PM. Help with our beach clean-ups, nature hikes, and participate in our recycling program. All are welcome: your help is needed!

Magnum Opus meetings are on Wednesdays at 5:30PM in UC 216.

Muslim Student Association meetings are every Friday at 1PM in UC Chapel. There are occasional meetings on Wednesday with advance notice. Friday night lecture series at 6pm in UC 315. Dec. 11 MSA Dinner event at Alumni House at 6PM. RSVP with MSA in advance through your club or our mailbox.

NAACP meetings are on Tuesdays at 5PM in UC 213.

Psychology Club meetings are on Wednesdays at 1PM in Blodgett 212

Resident Student Association meetings are on Wednesdays at 9PM in Chapman Hall lounge.

Student History Society meetings are on Wednesdays at 1PM in Blodgett 209 and include student/teacher lectures and events planning.

Upcoming Events in November:

Monday November 10th@ 7PM- Steven Pinker "The Blank Slate" in the UC Ballroom. In "The Blank Slate: Denial of Human Nature", Steven Pinker asks and answers audacious questions about the always-controversial Nature vs. Nurture debate. A professor of psychology at MIT's Center for Cognitive Neuroscience, Dr. Pinker's 1998 book, How the Mind Works, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.

Tuesday November 11th@ 12:15PM- The Undergraduate Social Work Council invites you to hear Yvonne Wildner M.S.W. from LIGALY (Long Island Gay and Lesbian Youth) in room 200 in the Hagedorn Hall of Enterprise building.

Wednesday November 12th and Thursday November 13th @ 7PM and 9PM- Black Box #3 at the Olmsted Theatre. Productions vary and include one-act plays and original works. Second Stage performances take place in the Black Box Theatre on the lower level of the Olmsted Theatre. Seating is intimate and limited. Performances are free, but reservations are required. Sunday November 16th@ 3PM- The Friends of the Adelphi University Library are hosting their 8th Annual Art Lecture with Ines Losada Powell speaking on the life and work of "El Greco."
