Matriculation Day

Freshman students* will check-in at 9:00 a.m. in the University Center, Room 201. The day includes attending the Matriculation Ceremony, a time-honored tradition, during which members of the University Board of Trustees, senior administration and faculty formally welcome new students to the community of scholars at Adelphi University. During the day, students will also participate in the required book discussion with faculty and other classmates.

The day concludes at 4:00 p.m. (Lunch will be provided).

Parent Orientation is also scheduled for this date, which includes attending the Matriculation Ceremony.

*Freshmen enrolled in University College are exempt from attending.
