Adelphi University’s Parent Orientation program is specifically designed to acquaint you with the most important student services on campus and to reassure you that you are leaving your student in good hands. The Parent Orientation program includes discussions about academics and vital University services such as Student Financial Services, Residential Life and Housing, Commuter Student Services, and Co-curricular Activities. It has been our experience that parents who have information about the Adelphi freshman experience will find it easier to give much needed support to their sons and daughters.
Faculty, senior administrators, specially trained upper-classmen, and members of the Parents Association will be available throughout the day to welcome you to the University and to answer any questions that you may still have about Adelphi. During the Parent Orientation program, you will also have the opportunity to meet the families of other new students.
This year's Parent Orientation program will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 following the tentative schedule below. If you would like to attend, please contact us as soon as possible at parents@adelphi.edu.
