Adelphi University's Parent Orientation program is specifically designed to provide you with information about campus resources and programs, as we partner with parents in guiding students in this college experience. The Parent Orientation program includes discussions about academics and important University services such as health, safety and finances.

Meet and Greet Information Session

While your student is “getting started at AU” during Freshman Orientation in July, so will you! Learn about the services and programs available to your son or daughter and meet University administrators and fellow parents. The brief parent presentation begins at 10:45, and the meet and greet reception will immediately follow.

Matriculation Ceremony and Parent Orientation
Center for Recreation and Sports (CRS)
Check-in for Students and Parents 8:15-9:00 a.m.
Program concludes for parents and students 1:00 p.m.*
On Monday, August 26, 2013, parents are encouraged to attend the time honored Matriculation Ceremony as students are formally welcomed into the Adelphi community of scholars. The Parent Orientation program, held the same day, will further your knowledge about Adelphi, and provide insight into your student’s transition into college. Register for Parents Orientation.
