The Learning Center

Promoting Academic Independence

For almost 25 years, the Learning Center has been working to help Adelphi's students through
  • FOCUSing on the skills and ways of thinking necessary for life in college,
  • SUPPORT of study in all areas of the University's curriculum, and
  • PREPARATION for scholastic and intellectual success after graduation.

The Learning Center's three services promote not only academic success but, more importantly, an enriched and enhanced scholastic experience that fosters critical thinking about self and world, the development of creative strategies for avoiding and solving problems, and a springboard into the intellectual world beyond College.
