Biography

Hinda Barlaz is the Coordinator of Academic Learning Services. Beyond her deep affection for Komodo dragons, Hinda is passionately committed to helping Adelphi students get into the graduate school of their choice. She has assembled a uniquely talented group of learning assistants to help Adelphi students prepare for graduate school entrance exams as well as compose personal statements for graduate school applications. She can be verbose sometimes (OK, more than sometimes) and does tend to lapse into professor-esque mode; however she truly believes that every student has the potential to perform at a high academic level. She enjoys talking with students, so stop by her office and see how the Learning Center can help you fulfill your academic and professional aspirations.
