Diversity and Multicultural Programs is a part of the Center for Student Involvement and provides opportunities to enhance the awareness and appreciation of diversity, social justice issues, and the concerns of traditionally underserved populations. The Center for Student Involvement advises students and provides programming that helps to foster a campus climate that celebrates and embraces difference.
Future goals of the program are:
- To plan and implement educational and social programs that help to facilitate personal development and awareness about issues related to diversity.
- To serve as a resource to the campus community in efforts to respond to the expanding meaning of diversity within the student population.
- Assist student organizations with creating environments and programs that will support the success and retention of students, particularly, those from diverse backgrounds.
