The Center for Student Involvement encourages students to realize their leadership potential. Participation in student organizations builds a foundation for the future. Students gain experience in learning how to lead, organize, resolve problems, and build consensus.
Students can contribute as an Orientation Leader, Peer Assistant Leadership or assist in the
New Student Orientation Program.
These activities are recorded on a cocurricular transcript that is completed by the student and certified by the Center for Student Involvement in official recognition of a student's contribution to the Adelphi community.
Completing this also ensures that all of your credentials are on file and noted for consideration of leadership awards by our Office. The Center gives out leadership awards to recognize outstanding efforts.
