Student government provides undergraduates with opportunities to represent students and serve as their link to the University administration.

Academic clubs give students the opportunity to learn more about their field of study or to find out about an area that might be of interest to them. In the setting outside the classroom, students can interact and exchange ideas.

Campus media organizations provide opportunities for students to gain experience in writing or broadcasting. Students contribute to the yearbook, literary magazine, and student newspaper and help produce programs on Web radio and cable TV.

Greek letter fraternities and sororities sponsor social activities and athletic competitions, provide academic support and leadership development, and foster a sense of camaraderie.

Honor societies recognize academic, professional, and leadership excellence in specific disciplines. Membership is usually by invitation only.

Religious organizations are dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding of religious beliefs. The groups also plan events to observe and celebrate their respective holidays.

Special interest organizations cover a host of topics from debating current events to learning about new trends in graphic arts.
