Alpha Kappa Alpha |
| In 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority became America's first black Greek letter organization established by and for black women. Its roots date back to Howard University in Washington, D.C. Alpha Kappa Alpha's colors are apple green and salmon pink and its flower is the pink tea rose.
Alpha Kappa Alpha supports many philanthropic programs including Reading is Fundamental, NAACP, and the United Negro College Fund.
