Student Organizations| Sigma Delta Tau

Sigma Delta Tau was founded at Cornell University in 1917 and in March 1992 celebrated its 75th anniversary. Adelphi's Gamma Omega chapter was founded in November 1991. Sigma Delta Tau's colors are café au lait and Old Blue and its flower is the yellow tea rose. Its symbol is a torch, and its motto is "One Hope of Many People."

Sigma Delta Tau supports many charitable organizations including AIDS Awareness, Multiple Sclerosis, the SJK Foundation, and their national philanthropy, Child Abuse Prevention.
