Adelphi University recognizes the sacrifice our soldiers make and strives to raise awareness and solicit the public’s aid for the needs of service men, women and their families. There are several benefit programs as well as counseling that are available to help meet the needs of these honorable men and women. Below we have included this information and resources for our returning soldiers who wish to pursue these services and further their academic career.
Army Benefits for Education
One benefit of being a soldier is the opportunity to have the army pay for your education, or pay off your current student loan debt. If this is your goal, the army can make it happen.

Disabled Veterans Benefits
If you are leaving the Army with a service-related disability, you may be eligible for one of several federal programs designed to assist your transition and provide for your and your family's future. You do not need to be medically discharged or retired to qualify for some of these programs. Your eligibility will be determined based on the degree of disability and its cause.
