Mentoring/Tutoring Opportunities If your interest includes becoming a mentor or tutor, there are many opportunities at Adelphi to serve in this role. Positions such as Orientation and Peer Assistant Leaders, are offered through the Division of Student Affairs and the Center for Student Involvement. Intramural Sports / Recreation Center If your interests include working out or playing intramural sports, Campus Recreation has many opportunities available. Play an instrument or recite poetry? Share your talents at one of the Coffee House events, or other campus activities organized by the Center for Student Involvement. Cat Cup Challenge, a collaborative effort between Residential Life and Campus Recreation, gives students a chance to play and compete in friendly sporting events and campus activities. If you are interested in a job on campus around your class schedule, there are many opportunities to work in various departments and centers. It’s a great way to earn some extra cash, meet University administrators, fellow students and learn more about Adelphi University. The Center for Career Development posts campus employment opportunities on PantherZone. In addition, positions for resident students are available through Residential Life and Housing. There are also designated short term paid mentoring positions available through the Division of Student Affairs and Center for Student Involvement .
