Freshman Orientation| Introduction

Freshman Orientation group, 2006
Freshman Orientation introduces you to the Adelphi campus and community. This three-day program for all freshmen—commuters and residents—gives you an overview of the extensive range of opportunities available to you at Adelphi. Attendance is mandatory.

Orientation Leaders (OLs) serve as your guides throughout the program. They are ready to share their knowledge and enthusiasm. They have received extensive training to prepare them to answer all your questions.

You will live in a residence hall on campus for all three days of the program. Activities are planned from morning through evening and consist of:
  • tours of the campus and facilities
  • meetings with faculty and administration
  • workshops
  • social events

Orientation is just the beginning of your college experience. You are encouraged to get involved in activities that will enrich your life.

Congratulations as you start this exciting journey!
