Entering college is a huge step for students—and their parents. Adelphi offers a special Parent Orientation program to introduce parents to the campus, its services, and activities.
Led by trained Orientation Leaders (OLs), and coordinated in conjunction with the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, these sessions give parents the opportunity to learn how they can become an integral part of their child's college experience. They will meet with faculty and administration and participate in workshops about easing the transition to college life.
Parent Orientation will be held on the same day as the University's Matriculation Ceremony, August 22, 2008.
