Students should download Adelphi University's Guide to Residential Life and Housing (PDF 2.9MB) to review the housing policies. Students living on campus are required to adhere to all policies regarding residential housing. All students living on campus are required to purchase a University meal plan.
New Students
Newly accepted students are encouraged to apply for on-campus housing as soon as possible, by completing the Residence Hall Agreement section of the Reservation Card provided in their acceptance packet. Campus housing is not guaranteed. The $300 housing deposit and $250 tuition deposit must be received by University Admissions by May 1 for fall admission, or as soon as possible for spring admission. (Online housing reservation is not available to new students.)
Current Students
Continuing students may come to the Office of Residential Life and Housing and pick up an agreement; or download the agreement here (PDF 1.9MB) , mail the completed agreement to the office in Earle Hall or fax to 516.877.3653. Please be sure that you have paid the $300 housing deposit when you submit your Housing Agreement.

Housing is available for Adelphi University students during the intersession if they satisfy one of the following requirements, and are able to acquire a signature verifying that they are:
- an international student
- participating in an internship
- employed by the University
- an athlete in season.
Only international students are eligible to reside on campus during the Energy Days when the University is closed (the week between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day). There is no meal plan during the intersession. The cafeteria is open with limited hours on holidays (please see holiday hours posted at the cafeteria).
Please note: You must pay in advance at the Office of Student Financial Services Cashier's window for all of the weeks you request. This agreement cannot be accepted by the Office of Residential Life and Housing without a stamp indicating payment.
To apply for intersession housing, download and complete the Residence Hall Agreement Intersession 2009-10 (PDF 56KB). The Agreement must be received by the Office of Residential Life and Housing by Friday, December 11, 2009 at 4:30 p.m.
