Owned and operated by Barnes & Noble College Bookstores, Inc., the campus bookstore is located on the lower level of the Ruth S. Harley University Center. It sells all required and recommended textbooks, as well as school and office supplies. The store also carries nursing supplies, Adelphi University clothing and gifts, magazines, reference books, trade paperbacks, candy, cards, and health and beauty products.
The bookstore buys back texts from students. This service is available all the time, except for the first two weeks of each semester.
The store also offers check-cashing services. Personal checks can be cashed to a maximum of $25 per day. University payroll checks can be cashed on the Thursday and Friday of each pay period. All check cashing requires proper identification.
