NARCAN Training

This event has been canceled.

First time in this training? Or, would you like a refresher? Either way, register now for one of the most important workshops you’ll attend this year!

NARCAN Training covers the current heroin epidemic plaguing this nation and the life-saving action of administering NARCAN to possible opioid overdoses. You will learn how to save a life!

This workshop is provided by a social justice organization representative and attendees will be provided with a NARCAN kit after being instructed on use of the materials in the kit. This is a first aid-life saving workshop.

Presented by Sandy, a first responder for overdose victims in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, in partnership with Professor Catherine M. Forker, M.S. health sciences and the Nassau County ADA Office, Heroin Task Force.

Part of Alcohol Awareness Month. This is an alcohol-free event. #PanthersCheerAlcoholAwareness

This event is free but registration is required. RSVP to AOD@adelphi.edu.
