Panther Pantry

Coronavirus situation update: The Panther Pantry has updated its hours of operation and pick up location.

  • Orders will be filled on Tuesdays and Fridays. Orders can still only be placed online.
  • Orders placed Friday afternoon – Tuesday morning at 10AM will be filled on Tuesday afternoon. Orders Placed Tuesday after 10AM – Friday at 10AM will be filled Friday afternoons.

Once your order has been filled you may come Monday through Friday 9 AM -5 PM to pick it up.

Students ordering from on-campus:
The new pick up location is in Nexus 126. Please show this to the campus safety worker and they will bring you your order.

Students ordering from off-campus:
Please drive up to the campus entrance near Levermore Hall (Gate C) on South Street. Show the Campus Safety worker your email. The Campus Safety worker will instruct you where to park and allow you to go pick up your package in Nexus 126.

Food insecurity can be found anywhere—even on a college campus. Adelphi’s Panther Pantry can help, providing vulnerable members of our community with basic food items, free of charge. The pantry addresses other needs, too, offering personal care products, clothing and household items. All are free for the asking. Just drop by the pantry or order online from our virtual menu. Either way, we’ll protect your privacy, as all pantry use is confidential.

If you do not wish to visit the pantry, you can order items online by going to eCampus and selecting the Panther Pantry icon. Orders can be picked up in the Post Hall mailroom on weekdays, 9 am to 4:30 pm. You’ll receive a notification when your items are ready, but you’ll need to collect them within three days.

How Can You Help?


While the pantry doesn’t accept food donations, you can help by offering financial support. We accept cash as well as checks made payable to Adelphi University, with “Panther Pantry” written on the memo line. Donations should be delivered to Carol Lucas, Office of the Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Nexus Building, Room 308. Employees can also donate by making a charitable gift by payroll deduction.


The pantry relies on volunteers to staff our physical location, distribute food, take orders and shelve items. If you’re interested in helping out, contact the Division of Student Affairs at 516.877.3660 or

Help us make sure that everyone in our community knows about the pantry. Tell your friends and encourage those you know who may need assistance. Pantry use is confidential because our goal is to reach as many people as possible who are in need by respecting and supporting them.
