    Trash/Recycling

Trash receptacles are located in the laundry room, bathrooms and some hall closets in each residence hall. All residents are responsible for properly disposing of their trash. Violators are subject to fines and disciplinary action.

Adelphi recycles not only cans, bottles and paper, but also ensures that hazardous waste is not mixed with inert refuse.

The Office of Facilities Management recycles all fluorescent light bulbs, batteries and computer equipment. Cardboard and metals are also sorted into separate containers.
