Volunteer and Community Service Programs

volunteer-and-community-service-programsThrough collaboration with community organizations, the Center for Student Involvement facilitates opportunities to perform both indirect and direct service. Service initiatives include the Freshman Community Action Program, Adelphi Gives Back Month, Be the Change Week, the CARE mentoring program and alternative break service trips.

The center works in collaboration with Long Island Blood Services, a division of New York Blood Center, to host several Blood Drives throughout the year. Relay for Life has become an annual event that raises money for cancer research. And there are many others.
